Evidence based and quality assured, our psychological service to educational settings caters for all children and young people from birth to 25.

Working together

Keeping children at the centre of what we do, we work collaboratively with schools, parents and education, health and social care professionals as well as with children and young people directly.

All the bases covered

We contribute to the Education, Health and Care planning process, provide statutory advice and make recommendations to your local authority on appropriate provision to meet the special educational needs of children and young people.

Cutting edge practice

As experts in child development we apply current psychological theories and research to enhance the educational, personal, social and emotional wellbeing of children and young people.

Tailor made

Specialist assessments and interventions for children and young people with SEN. From tailored support plans to targeted therapeutic work with children, on a one-to-one or small group basis as well as with families.

Promoting development

School and centre based training in specialist programmes such as Emotional Literacy for Support Assistants (ELSA). Support for educational settings in empowering parents, improving parent-child relationships, or for developmental research projects to improve practice.

Emotional wellbeing

Help with developing initiatives such as nurture groups, or delivering programs such as FRIENDS. Direct support to educational communities when a critical incident occurs.
